e’s old enough to get his temp permit, so I took him over to our church parking lot this afternoon so he can start getting familiar with the mechanics of how to drive. I spent a good five minutes on just how to sit, adjust mirrors, turning the wheel and foot placement. It’s amazing how much you take for granted when you’ve been driving for 30+ years. We just cruised around the parking lot at low speeds, having him practice turns, stops and starts. I should have had him figure out how to start it. Well, that can be for his next drive.
